Day One
We decided that the planters at 62nd and Ingleside:
-should be moved -should be planted nicely -should be painted/designed/colorful/site-specific -need to be taken care of -should have a purpose/meaning
We help provide urban youth with resources and skills to solve real problems.
This youth job training program will focus on community building in the community of Woodlawn. The project is a collaborative effort between Christ Way M.B. Church, Brick Yard Garden, and architreasures, a non-profit organization, and the University of Chicago's Civic Knowledge Project.
